The leader of the New Force and independent presidential aspirant Nana Kwame Bediako, popularly known as Cheddar, has responded to those who say his 12-pillar of Economic Transformation and 12 ministers can’t change Ghana by saying, “If Jesus can do it with 12 disciples, then God can do it with us.”
Nana, who was speaking at his political rally in Ho yesterday, November 6th, 2024, said he chose to build the 12 pillars because he realized that all the manifestos written in the past 40 years could not be manifested. For that reason, he decided to build 12 pillars that would build the nation. Thus, the 12 Pillars signifies “The New Apostolic Governance!”
“The future of Ghana will dwell on these pillars,” he said. “When we put together the 12 pillars of this nation, they thought that 12 ministers running the country was impossible. If Jesus can do it with 12 disciples, then God can do it with us. We are doing better! The new force is doing better! This is the new apostolic governance!” Nana asserted.
Cheddar went on to reterate his experience during the balloting process at the Electoral Commission’s office that led to him choosing number 12 as his number on the ballot paper for the upcoming December 7th General Elections in Ghana
which aligns with his 12 Pillars. “When we walked into that ballot room in the EC to go and get our ballot number, the number also came as 12, I want to tell you, when I say apostolic governance, and when I tell you about 12, 12 is a serious number. When it’s 12 in the afternoon, in the afternoon, you see the sunlight come out. When it’s 12 in the midnight, that is the next day. When it’s 12 months of the year, the year is over. Whenever you see 12, there is a change. When we finish this 2024. You are going to see a change in this country. Nana said charging the youths who gathered in their numbers at the Dome Park for his rally.”
“It was nine months ago and they thought this mask coming off my face was not going to amount to anything. But now we are changing the political industry. Our fathers and our mothers, they did not make good use of their time so we cannot benefit from their time, but as much as I’m disappointed, I am also hopeful because I know we have time to change it.” were the words on Nana to the youths and people of Ho as he encouraged them to embrace the change he is bringing on board.
He also used the opportunity to outline what he believes are the 7 “less” problems of Ghana in his words, “I have been on this 276 tour, I have visited over 150 constituencies already, Guess what? This country has seven problems. The people are jobless. We have the biggest currency in the world, the money is worthless. Apart from the money being valueless, I saw the people becoming hopeless. I saw some of our mothers and fathers, and I am becoming useless, becoming speechless right now because our country is becoming less. I wanted to say this so you can feel the pain of this country, but I want you to be rest assured that today’s problems are going to become tomorrow’s opportunities.” These are some of the words of Nana Kwame Bediako as he persuaded the crowd to vote for him in the upcoming December 7 general elections in Ghana.
