Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has said that the Khalistani supporters in Canada don’t represent the Sikh community as a whole. The remark came at a time when India and Canada’s diplomatic ties have severed.

“There are many supporters of Khalistan in Canada but they do not represent the Sikh community as a whole,” said Trudeau as quoted by Hindustan Times. According to the report, the remark by the Canadian PM was made during an event in Ottawa’s Parliament Hill on Monday.
