Leicester City fans have now shared their thoughts on former Fox, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.

After securing promotion back to the Premier League, Leicester City were dealt a major blow on the transfer front.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall scored 12 and assisted 14 in 44 Championship appearances in 2023/24 as the Foxes secured promotion back to the top flight.

However, promotion-winning manager Enzo Maresca was then poached by Chelsea, with the Italian then prying Dewsbury-Hall away from the King Power Stadium in the 2024 summer transfer window.

But despite Maresca already knowing what a talent the 26-year-old is, KDH has found game time hard to come by at Stamford Bridge this term.

Dewsbury-Hall has made 10 appearances for Chelsea but his minutes have been very limited, earning just 43 in the Premier League to date.

Now, after the Blues’ latest meeting, Leicester fans have made their feelings on Dewsbury-Hall clear.

Leicester City fans make Kieran Dewsbury-Hall after Chelsea vs Noah

Chelsea are plying their trade in the Europa Conference League this season and were in action against Noah on Thursday evening.

The west Londoners came away with an 8-0 win but Dewsbury-Hall, despite his limited minutes in the Premier League, did not even start the clash against the minnows.

Now, Leicester fans have taken to X/Twitter to share their thoughts on their ex-player’s lack of game time and urged the Foxes to make a January move for him.

One fan wrote: “So Dewsbury-Hall isn’t even being picked for games that Chelsea have against with no disrespect absolute nobodies. The lad should ask to leave as soon as possible, wasting an entire season of his career, and for what? Think we should just try to resign him, is it possible?”

A second added: “My ‘call’ would be we get KDH back on loan in January if we give first refusal to Chelsea to sign Hermansen.”

Another Leicester supporter stated: “Loan him in Jan, benefits him whether he stays or does indeed come back permanently.”

A fourth fan added: “Loan in Jan is possible but I’m pretty sure he would feel like a loser coming back so soon, I’ve already predicted next season he will be with a lower-half prem side, it will be infuriating if it’s not us.”

A fifth Foxes fan wrote: “Loan to buy in Jan,” while another added: “Probably get him on loan in Jan, I’d say he’ll definitely leave on loan, hoping he has a good half a season so they can recoup most the fee back in the summer and sell him.”

A seventh Leicester supporter wrote: “A move to stave off potential breach of financial fair play, probably part of the Maresca settlement. I doubt KDH wanted the move.”

What Enzo Maresca said about Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall Chelsea minutes

Speaking back in September, Maresca shared his thoughts on the former Leicester ace and his lack of minutes.

He said: “I’m very happy with Kiernan. We need to understand that Kiernan was the main player at Leicester.

“He arrived here now and he’s not the main player, now he’s one of the players. For him, and any player in the world, you need to adapt mentally.

“You go from: ‘Okay, I’m the main player here’ to being one of the players. That period requires a bit of time where you understand that and adapt that.”

However, that was nearly two months ago now and with his minutes still very limited, Dewsbury-Hall could be looking for an exit in January.

A loan move would likely suit all parties and a return to Leicester, even for six months, does make sense.
