AC Milan are interested in signing Victor Lindelof from Manchester United in the January transfer window, according to CaughtOffSide. Lindelof is out of contract at United at the end of the season and will become a free agent in the summer of 2025, but Milan are so serious about the defender that they could make an offer for him when the transfer window opens in January.
Lindelof has been on the books of United since 2017 when he joined from Benfica. The Sweden international central defender has not always had the best of times at the Red Devils and is not guaranteed a place in the starting lineup. The 30-year-old has made four substitute appearances in the Premier League, has played twice in the UEFA Europa League and has placed once in the Carabao Cup so far this season.
United are 13th in the Premier League table at the moment with 12 points from 10 matches, seven points above the bottom three and six points behind fourth-placed Chelsea. As for Milan, the Rossoneri currently find themselves seventh in the Serie A table with 17 points from 10 matches, eight points behind leaders Napoli.
