AC Milan striker Alvaro Morata was rushed to the hospital on Thursday after an aerial collision with centre-back Strahinja Pavlovic, Metro UK reports.
He was immediately taken to a hospital in Legnano for treatment.
The former Real Madrid and Chelsea star was given an all-clear after undergoing an MRI scan. But he remained in the hospital for observation and, as a result, will now miss AC Milan’s Serie A match against Cagliari on Saturday.
Tammy Abraham is expected to deputise in Morata’s absence.
