Actress Marya Okoth Breaks Silence on Whether She Has Moved on After Break-up With Comedian YY
Actress and digital creator Marya Okoth has addressed her relationship status following her breakup with popular comedian YY.
Speaking candidly in a recent YouTube video, Marya confirmed that she is not currently in a relationship and hinted at a more private approach to her personal life in the future.
Marya, who has a significant following across social media, stated, “You are free to use my words against me. I don’t think I will ever do a public relationship again.” She continued, “Hili swali ni gumu. Mnafanya hesabu ya minus kwa maisha yangu. If I had a boyfriend you guys would see signs. If you know signs of a girl who has a boyfriend you would definitely tell if I have a boyfriend or not. Mi sina mtu, I don’t have a boyfriend.”
These remarks reflect a significant change in her views on publicizing her relationships. Following a highly visible romance with YY, which received considerable attention online, Marya now appears to prioritize privacy and selectivity about what she shares with the public.
