We’re asking the question on all Married At First Sight UK viewers’ lips – are Lacey and Nathan still together?

The couple didn’t get off to the best start, with Nathan’s aloof attitude making Lacey question how much he really cared about her – and the experiment in general. With Lacey’s mum (and those chicken fajitas) thrown into the mix, tensions were heightened even further.

Yet despite these stumbling blocks, Lacey and Nathan have emerged as one of the strongest couples on the show. If you can’t wait until the reunion episodes (airing on 13 and 14 November 2024), we have all the info you need on whether Lacey and Nathan are still together.

What happened with Lacey and Nathan on MAFS UK?

Lacey and Nathan were paired by the relationship experts due to their similar values. Lacey is a twin whose sister has ADHD. The husband that she was matched with, Nathan, also has ADHD, so Lacey was able to understand and empathise with his behaviour.

Nathan had asked the experts for a partner who is family-oriented, which fits Lacey to a tee. She’s super close with her mum and twin sister, although this did cause a couple of awkward moments throughout the experiment.

The first major ‘oof!’ moment came when Nathan was standing at the altar. As Lacey’s sister, Paige, walked down the aisle as a bridesmaid, Nathan turned around and said: “Oh wow!” thinking she was the bride. Eek. Lacey’s mum had to remind Nathan that brides – generally – don’t wear bright pink dresses.

After that was cleared up, Lacey and Nathan’s honeymoon was almost perfect. But Nathan’s inability to express himself caused Lacey to question how much he actually liked her, and whether they were a good match.

When opening up about past tragedies and traumas in her life, Lacey told Nathan about losing friends in car crashes, and being involved in a car crash herself. Nathan’s response was pretty cold, as he didn’t acknowledge what Lacey had said and quickly changed the subject.

Speaking to the camera, Lacey said she needs someone who is “emotionally intelligent” which wasn’t the vibe she was getting from Nathan. But after addressing this with her husband, Nathan opened up about his ADHD and how it can cause him to become distracted. At this moment, Lacey realised that she could relate to this due to her sister’s ADHD, and the couple agreed to work harder on their communication moving forward.

Following the honeymoon, Lacey and Nathan went from strength to strength as a couple. They sailed through the dramatic dinner parties, in-laws week and homestays. Lacey’s mum, Maxine, did keep Nathan on his toes, causing some friction between the happy couple.

During in-laws week, Maxine and Paige visited the pair to see how married life was treating them. Despite Nathan being a vegetarian, Maxine chose to make chicken fajitas for dinner, which Nathan didn’t eat. As if this wasn’t enough, Nathan then made a bad joke about the food, chalking it up as “banter”.

As the evening was drawing to a close, Nathan said: “You can take [the fajitas] with you as well, because that’s awful.” He also called them “bottom-of-the-bin” which he said was a joke, but Maxine didn’t take it that way. Thankfully, after some words from Lacey, Maxine and Paige forgave Nathan for his questionable sense of humour.

Are Lacey and Nathan still together?

The cast of MAFS UK aren’t allowed to discuss their relationship status until the series has ended – we wouldn’t want any spoilers after all. However, that hasn’t stopped us from doing some internet sleuthing.

Going by the couple’s social media, it seems they may still be enjoying each other’s company. They both follow each other on Instagram, and Lacey has posted various photos and videos from the pair’s time on the show highlighting how happy they were together at the time.

Not only this, she’s done a few Q&As on her stories, revealing details about unaired moments from the series, including the fact that they did a homestay at Nathan’s and got matching tattoos.

What’s more, fellow MAFS UK couple Kieran and Kristina revealed in an interview with Capital that they think Lacey and Nathan are most likely to get married for real and have children together. So are Lacey and Nathan still together? We think they might be, but we’ll have to wait for the reunion to find out.
