Good Omens fans have been left ‘devastated’ after it was announced the show’s third and final series had been scrapped in favour of a 90-minute one off finale.

MailOnline have contacted Amazon and Neil Gaiman for comment.

The author  has denied the allegations made against him by five women, branding the accusations as ‘disturbing’.

It comes after Disney also hit pause on its feature adaptation of Gaiman’s 2008 ‘The Graveyard Book’ after the allegations surfaced.

In an investigation by Tortoise Media for a podcast co-hosted by Boris Johnson’s sister Rachel Johnson, two women who had been in consensual relationships with Gaiman accused him of sexual assault.

They claimed he made them engage in ‘rough and degrading sex’ which was not always consensual, and told them to call him ‘master’.

Gaiman has strongly denied the allegations, stating that all sexual relations with the two women was consensual.

Two other women also came forward with allegations following Tortoise’s investigation.

Writer Julia Hobsbawm said Gaiman had made an ‘aggressive, unwanted pass’ at her at her flat in 1986, jumping on her ‘out of the blue’ and attempting to kiss her.

Gaiman says he had stopped kissing Ms Hobsbawm when he realised she did not want him to.

Another woman, mother-of-three Caroline Wallner, alleged that he pressured her to have sex with him in return for allowing her live with her daughters at his property in New York. She alleges it took place over a four year period from 2017, after she split from her ex-husband.

Gaiman insists the relationship was consensual.

A fifth woman has also alleged that Gaiman kissed and groped her when on a bus during a book tour of the US back in July 2013.

The author says he stopped kissing the woman when he knew she did not want him to, and denies the claims of groping.

Gaiman is known for his best-selling books which include Coraline, American Gods and The Sandman.
