Bournemouth winger Luis Sinisterra will not feature for Colombia in the next international break as they and the Cherries have agreed to leave him in England.
That’s according to journalist Pipe Sierra, who reports that the medical teams at both have decided Sinisterra is best missing the break this time around.
The winger has only managed 272 minutes of actions for Bournemouth this season and has been missing from their last two games, the draw with Aston Vill and the win over Manchester City.
A report last week stated that Colombia were being kept aware of the Bournemouth man’s situation but insisted all was well and he was expected to return from injury this week.
That put him in line to be a part of the next international break, when they take on Uruguay and Ecuador in World Cup qualifying.
However, Sierra reports that due to Sinisterra’s recovery process with Bournemouth, they and Colombia have decided he won’t be called up.
The medical teams for club and country want him to recover without problems, in other words they don’t want to rush him, and so he’s set to miss out this time around.
