AC Milan are looking to strengthen their defensive department and they have their eye on centre-backs at Manchester United and Arsenal.
According to CaughtOffside, Milan are aware of the fact that Victor Lindelof’s future with Manchester United is uncertain given that his deal expires at the end of the season and at the moment a renewal is far from imminent.
The 30-year-old has made 266 appearances for the Red Devils and has been there for over half a decade now. However, they have invested in other centre-backs and a move for Everton’s Jarrad Branthwaite is being lined up.
Milan are keeping tabs on things and could move for Lindelof, because they ‘value his experience’. The management could make an approach in January when the Swede will be free to negotiate with foreign clubs.
However, the report adds that ‘sources have stated’ Milan are also very interested in Arsenal’s Jakub Kiwior. Lindelof would be a permanent signing on a free, whereas there is interest in getting Kiwior on loan for the 2025-26 season.
The Poland international is not a regular in Mikel Arteta’s starting XI, but there is competition from Napoli, Bologna, Juventus, Villarreal and Marseille to contend with. It is very much a long-standing interest in Kiwior on Milan’s part, from his Spezia days.
