Sports and Arts Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen has highlighted the significance role the young people play in achieving technological advancements as a country and the world at large.

Speaking at Dayster University where he gave a keynote speech themed; “The Nexus Between AI and the Future of Work,” the CS expressed confidence that the Gen Z have the potential to place Kenya as a pioneer in AI and technological advancements.

“I expressed my confidence that Generation Z can position Kenya as a leader in AI and technological innovation, supported by the government’s ongoing efforts to enhance the digital superhighway and strengthen policy frameworks,” read part of Murkomen’s statement.

“Let us seize this moment to build a future of prosperity, equity, and empowerment through knowledge and technology,”

Murkomen spoke government’s commitment to create structures and better environment as part of support to the young population to innovate.

He, however, challenged the youths to have positive mindset and attitude which is paramount to achieve change in any sector.
