The recent Senate action on Meru governor Kawira Mwangaza’s impeachment case is causing her to suffer yet another serious setback. The Senate seeks to reverse the high court’s ruling to halt Kawira Mwangaza’s impeachment proceedings, according to a Nation article.
The Senate argues that the hearing should go forward and a decision should be made because it is constitutional. A few days ago, the IEBC suggested a law that would have required a six-month hearing before a decision could be made.
