According to the advisory, rainfall is anticipated in these regions during the initial days of the forecast period, from November 8 to November 10, with some areas experiencing isolated storms. The weather is expected to shift to predominantly sunny and dry conditions by Monday, November 11, lasting through Tuesday, November 12. In some areas, rains will begin as early as Friday morning, extending into the evening and continuing over the weekend.
Specific regions such as Siaya, Kisumu, Homa Bay, Migori, Kisii, Nyamira, and counties in the Rift Valley and Western Kenya, including Trans Nzoia, Nandi, Kakamega, and Bungoma, will experience rains and possible thunderstorms.
Nairobi is projected to have a warm Saturday morning followed by rainfall at night, while counties along the coast, including Mombasa, Kilifi, and Lamu, can expect continued warmth with maximum temperatures reaching 33°C to 34°C.
In Nairobi, temperatures are forecasted to peak between 28°C and 29°C during the day with relatively cooler minimums. Coastal areas will maintain warm weather with minimums ranging from 22°C to 25°C. Additional counties like Marsabit, Mandera, Wajir, and Garissa have also been advised to expect warmer temperatures.
Residents are urged to be cautious, especially in areas likely to experience thunderstorms, and to stay informed about daily weather changes.
