Final UECL Table After Yesterday’s Matches as Chelsea Maintain Top Spot, While Florentina Lost
Chelsea achieved a remarkable 8-0 victory over Armenian side FC Noah in a UEFA Conference League match at Stamford Bridge, setting a new record for the largest margin of victory in the competition’s history.
The emphatic win highlighted exceptional performances from João Félix and Christopher Nkunku, both of whom scored twice as Chelsea dominated their opponents from the very beginning.
The Blues were relentless in the first half, racing to a stunning 6-0 lead by halftime.
Tosin Adarabioyo opened the scoring in the 12th minute with a header from a corner. Just a minute later, Marc Guiu took advantage of a defensive mistake to slot in the second goal.
Chelsea’s intensity continued as Axel Disasi added a third with a header in the 18th minute, followed by Félix, who skillfully slipped his shot past the goalkeeper in the 21st minute.
The crowd erupted again when Mykhailo Mudryk curled a spectacular shot into the top corner, making it 5-0, and Félix soon completed the first-half scoring with his second goal.
While Chelsea eased off slightly in the second half, they still found the net. Nkunku capitalized on a rebound in the 69th minute and later converted a penalty, rounding off the scoring.
With this victory, Chelsea remains at the top of the Conference League standings, boasting a perfect nine points from three matches.
This overwhelming win ties with Chelsea’s second-largest victory in history, reminiscent of their 13-0 triumph over Jeunesse Hautcharage in 1971.
