Germany U21 Star’s Value Quintuples Since Joining Inter Milan

Defender Yann Bisseck has seen his transfer value grow by five times easily since joining Inter Milan in 2023.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews. They note that the German could be worth as much as €40-50 million already at this stage.

Inter paid around €7.5 million when they signed Bisseck from Danish club Aarhus in the summer of 2023.

This was hardly an inconsiderable fee. Particularly for a player with virtually no experience in a top five European league.

But the Nerazzurri were confident that Bisseck had the necessary qualities to thrive in Serie A.

At the start of last season there was a settling-in period for Bisseck.

The German only really started regularly getting starts for Inter in November and December.

But by the second half of last campaign it had become clear that Inter coach Simone Inzaghi fully trusts Bisseck, whether as a starter or an option from the bench.

Yann Bisseck Quintuples Value Since Joining Inter Milan

After just one season at Inter, there was already transfer interest in Bisseck.

Had the Nerazzurri wanted to, they could have cashed in on the 23-year-old for quite a bit more than they paid for him.

Reportedly, West Ham United offered to pay a fee of as much as €30 million for Bisseck.

But Inter had no intention of letting the German leave.

Rather, the Nerazzurri felt that Bisseck would be an important part of the squad for this season. They need all the squad depth they can get with more fixtures than ever across all competitions.

Therefore, Bisseck has already received plenty of playing time this campaign.

Most notably, there were strong performances against Premier League giants Manchester City and Arsenal in the Champions League.

Bisseck started both of those matches for Inter.

Now, if Inter were to consider selling Bisseck, it would be for a fee well beyond even what West Ham had reportedly offered during the summer.

In the view of Tuttosport, the proper transfer value of the German has already risen to €40-50 million.
