There are a lot of leaks for Helldivers 2. They all originate from datamines, and some of them even include gameplay, but not all of them will see the light of day because plans don’t always materialize and ideas get scrapped. However, while datamined content isn’t guaranteed to become reality, a Helldivers 2 leak has shared new weapons that could possibly “be used in an upcoming warbond”.

As for what we know is arriving in the future of HD2, Arrowhead has confirmed they are fixing the game’s most divisive feature, but they are moving forward cautiously as it could impact the player experience both “positively and negatively”. In addition, we know a revamp is on the way for the jet pack, and, while collaborations are complicated, the Arrowhead CCO has revealed a crossover they want “that’d be the sickest thing imaginable“.

While more revamps are exciting, players always look forward to new Warbonds. The latest Warbond is Truth Enforcers, and it only recently came out on October 31st so we won’t see the next Warbond for quite some time. Arrowhead always keep things close to the chest, but a leak has shared datamined weapons that could possibly be used for a future Helldivers 2 Warbond.

Helldivers 2 leak shows old Dune weapons

On the HelldiversLeaks subreddit, verified leaker Asunderknight has shared images of datamined “old Dune weapons“. They are labelled as the Dune Walker and the Dune Strider.

According to Asunderknight, these are the file names, but the “actual in-game names may vary”. In addition, although shared on November 7th, these weapons were datamined on February 26th. Nothing else is shared other than speculation they “could be used in an upcoming Warbond”.

In addition to these weapons, similar armor has previously been leaked as shared by YouTuber Thordan. Comments in Asunderknight’s Reddit post also include images of the leaked armor with stats.

According to leaks, the armor rating is 100, speed is 500, stamina regen is 100, too. Furthermore, the passives are as follows:

• Engineering kit:
  • Further reduces recoil when crouching or prone by 30%
  • Increases initial inventory and holding capacity of grenades by +2

It’s not guaranteed this armor and weapons will be included in a Warbond, or, even if they are, there’s no way of knowing exactly when as the datamine dates back to February.

Hopefully they do come to fruition as the armor and weapons both look amazing. They look very primal, and they’re unique compared to everything else already in HD2.
