Stirling and its surrounding areas pay tribute to the region’s fallen war heroes this weekend.

The annual traditional city centre Remembrance Sunday service to commemorate those who have fallen in conflicts past and present is at the Church of the Holy Rude at 10.45am on November 10.

The parade from the church, towards the Cenotaph, takes place immediately following the service for the laying of wreaths and takes its usual format, heading down St John Street, Spittal Street and onto Corn Exchange Road.

Lord Provost, Elaine Watterson said: “Stirling’s proud connection with our armed forces community has endured for many years and we welcome anyone who wishes to pay their respects as we pause to honour the individuals who made the ultimate sacrifice.”

Additionally, villages and communities across Stirling will also be paying their respects. Here’s where else you can pay tribute to the region’s fallen war heroes.
