I’m a Beauty Editor, and Oprah Just Gave 4 of My Go-To Products Her Stamp of Approval
I get immense satisfaction from seeing one (or more) of my favorite products in a celebrity’s beauty routine. That feeling was amplified tenfold when I saw four of my go-to products get Oprah’s stamp of approval in her annual Favorite Things 2024 List. The items in the venn diagram overlap (I didn’t know think I’d ever have one with Oprah) are Tatcha’s Hinoki Body Care Trio, Anastasia Beverly Hills’s Lip Velvet Lipstick, Chillhouse Chill Tips Press-On Nails, and Grace and Company’s Silky Satin Pillowcase.
Tatcha Hinoki Body Care Trio
I love Tatcha’s Dewy Cream Moisturizer as much as the next person, but I fear the perpetual fanfare has us overlooking some of its newer and equally divine products. The Hinoki Body Care line has a scrub, milky lotion, and oil. They all smell like what I imagine forest bathing outside of a Japanese thermal spa smells like (pretty amazing).
Scent aside, the products are wonderful. Not only did Oprah put this on her 2024 list, but she also called it one of her “favorite Favorite things.” My go-to of the trio (in case you want just one product) is the Hinoki Body Oil. It penetrates deep and absorbs quickly but still leaves a sheen. It makes my skin feel very moisturized even when the winter cold and frequent baths dry it out.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Velvet
Not to be that person, but I was so ahead of the game with this Anastasia Beverly Hills lipstick—I documented the beginning of my obsession 10 months ago. “I told you” aside, the finish of these is blurred and powdery, which is a very trendy look right now, but this is also one of the few formulas that gets it right. The lip velvets, which Oprah called “incredible,” come in 10 shades and a six-piece kit. (The latter is the one specifically on her list.)

Chillhouse Chill Tips Oprah Bundle Press-On Nails
As much as I love the idea of nail art that doesn’t require $100 and two hours spent in a salon chair, I’m usually unimpressed by press-on nails. Chillhouse is one of the exceptions. It makes press-on nails that look like nails, not like I glued Chiclets to my fingers.
Oprah specifically recommends this three-pack for $38 with the 20 percent off code OPRAH2024. If you’d like to start with an individual kit, I like Chill at the Disco (holographic silver), Mood Ring (blue and pink aura-vibe), and Freelance Gig (light pink solids with two accent nails).
Grace and Company Silky Satin Pillowcase
Not all satin pillowcases are created equally—or affordably. Because these are a silk-like satin, they’re less expensive than many similar options, but I find they work just as well. They come in one watercolor floral print and five solid shades: white, light pink, navy, champagne, and brown.
My personal experience is waking up with less frizzy strands, fewer split ends in the long term, and none of those fabric creases imprinted into my face.
