Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are both doing press for Unstoppable at the moment (because yes, they are awkwardly promoting a movie together mid-divorce), and J.Lo just swerved a question about her ex on the red carpet.

To rewind a moment, Ben recently gushed about J.Lo during an interview with Entertainment Tonight, saying “Jennifer is spectacular.”

This made headlines for obvious reasons, and was brought up to J.Lo by a reporter on the red carpet who asked the star to “describe his producing.” Her response? Expert avoidance. Instead of mentioning Ben by name, she simply said “Um, I would describe all of the cast and everybody behind the scenes as spectacular and wonderful.”

J.Lo and Ben are promoting Unstoppable separately, but if the movie is nominated for an Oscar (there is buzz!) it seems inevitable that they’ll be making a red carpet appearance mid-divorce so…stay tuned for that.

In other news, the singer just opened up to People about her holiday plans coming off a truly “intense” year, saying she’s looking forward to hanging with her family.

“It was a pretty intense year for me and I’m most looking forward to spending time with my kids and my family coming out from the East Coast,” she said. “The holidays are such a special time for us and they’ve always been since I was a little girl. And I really look forward to those moments when I can be with my sisters and just relax and have fun and create new memories.”
