The Incumbent Second in Command DP Kithure Kindiki flew out of the country on his first international assignment to represent his boss President William Ruto in Botswana during the swearing in ceremony of President Duma Gideon Boko.

After his warm reception and making it to the inauguration venue, Kithure Kindiki has made his statement stating that Kenya salutes and commends the people of Botswana for exercising their civic and constitutional rights in the just concluded elections in an atmosphere of peace and tranquility.

“Kenya and Botswana continue to enjoy fraternal relations in diverse fields, among them, trade, security, education, agriculture and energy for the benefit of the people of the two nations,” he added.

Kindiki further claims to be honoured to have represented President William Ruto during the inauguration ceremony of His Excellency Duma Gideon Boko as the 6th President of the Republic of Botswana.Many Kenyans have lauded the new DP for carrying out his duties diligently and for his focus to help President William Ruto deliver on his election mandate.
