Kody and Robyn Brown just sold their $1.7 million Flagstaff, Arizona, home, but it didn’t take them long to find a new, much pricier house. The reality TV couple have reportedly put down $2.1 million on a new home, as Kody continues to fight over child support in court with his ex-wife, Christine Brown.

In Touch obtained a copy of the warrant deed, confirming the purchase. Kody and Robyn reportedly put a down payment of $420,000 on the home and needed a $1.6 million loan to complete the purchase, according to the publication.

The mansion boasts over 7,800 square feet of living space, with six bathrooms and seven bedrooms. It also features a detached RV garage, a guest home for additional accommodations, and space for up to seven vehicles—perfect for their large family.

Earlier this month, Kody and Robyn sold their $1.7 million Arizona property after originally listing it in August for $100,000 less than they eventually sold it for, giving the Sister Wives stars a substantial profit. Their old home, which had 4,400 square feet of living space, five bedrooms, and four bathrooms, pales in comparison to the new, more spacious mansion.

Kody’s real estate moves might come as a surprise to some, considering his well-documented history of financial struggles. Not only are the legal fees from his ongoing court case with Christine adding up, but Christine is also seeking child support for their youngest child, Truely, 14, who is the only minor left from their union.

Christine filed for support in September, following her departure from their polygamous marriage last year. She’s one of three ex-wives to leave Kody in recent years, leaving Robyn as his sole remaining wife.

Kody has faced money problems before, with reports suggesting that his net worth sits around $800,000. Despite starring on Sister Wives for over a decade, Kody and his family members are rumored to earn between $25,000 to $40,000 per episode—a significant amount but not quite enough to keep up with their ever-expanding expenses. And while the Sister Wives franchise has helped sustain the family, Kody’s big-spending lifestyle and mounting legal issues have taken a toll.

The custody battle with Christine has turned particularly nasty. In a recent interview, Christine called Kody a “deadbeat dad,” making it clear she’s not holding back in her quest to ensure Truely receives the financial support she deserves.

As Kody’s finances remain under scrutiny, it’s no wonder fans are curious how he and Robyn can afford such a lavish new home. But it’s likely only a matter of time before we see their new abode feature on Sister Wives, where all the drama will likely unfold.
