Arsenal’s attack really isn’t clicking at the moment.
Arsenal have scored just three goals in their last five games in the Premier League and Champions League combined, and something isn’t going right at the moment.
Indeed, Arsenal’s attack seems to be seriously disjointed right now.
Ian Wright has recently said he’s not happy with Kai Havertz’s positioning, and speaking on The Game Football Podcast, Tony Cascarino has diagnosed an issue with Havertz’s game right now.
Indeed, the pundit says that Leandro Trossard isn’t helping Havertz at the moment, claiming that the two players keep getting in one another’s way.
Leandro Trossard keeps getting in Kai Havertz’s way
Cascarino shared the problem he’s noticed between Trossard and Havertz.
The pundit says that the two players seem to be getting in one another’s way, and Arsenal haven’t set up their formation properly to accommodate both players.
“You know, so with Havertz and Trossard, I mean, I’m not sure if they’re getting each other’s way to some degree, because they don’t really play as a one up front and the other one around. It’s just gone a little bit off the ball.
Trossard and Havertz’s record together
Cascarino suggests that Trossard and Havertz aren’t playing well together, and he’s not too far wrong.
Indeed, the stats suggest that Trossard and Havertz really aren’t clicking as a partnership.
Both players are very good at scoring and assisting, but they don’t seem to help one another very often.

As you can see, Havertz and the £27m man don’t seem to link up very well.
They’ve played together often enough, but they don’t seem to know how to set one another up, and that doesn’t make for a great attacking dynamic.
Trossard has been criticised for his performances as of late, and with Martin Odegaard now returning from injury, it wouldn’t be a surprise if the Belgian now dropped out of the starting XI.
Arsenal need to find a way to get the goals flowing again, because they’re only a few bad results away from their title tilt completely collapsing.
