The 2024-25 NBA Championship is still in its early stages, but the Milwaukee Bucks have probably been the most disappointing team so far. With just a 1-6 record through their first seven games, the Bucks need to make some changes if they want to get back into the win column, and it appears one of those moves has been made ahead of Thursday night’s game against the Utah Jazz. Up to this point, the Bucks’ preferred starting lineup consists of Giannis Antetokounmpo, Damian Lillard, Brook Lopez, Taurean Prince and Gary Trent Jr. In an attempt to break the team’s six-game losing streak, head coach Doc Rivers will bring in Andre Jackson Jr. against the Jazz, with Trent being sent to the bench. After being selected with the 36th overall pick of the 2023 NBA Draft, Jackson earned a deep-bench role with the Bucks last season, averaging 10 minutes per game in 57 games, eight of which he started. Jackson has played 12 minutes per game so far this season, averaging 2.7 points and rebounds per game, while also dishing out 1.2 assists per game and shooting 40 percent from the field.
