Nigeria’s national power grid experienced another collapse today, November 8, continuing a troubling pattern of disruptions that have affected the country’s electricity supply. The most recent collapse occurred around 11:29 AM on Thursday, following a disturbance the day before. According to the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), the incident was triggered by an unexpected frequency spike from 50.33Hz to 51.44Hz.
