Described as the the UK’s “most glamorous off-grid experience”, the area’s marshes and woodland accessible by boat or boot were suggested to relax and decompress after a stressful wedding.

The paper has previously suggested canoeing along parts of the 116 square miles of waterways with each foot teeming with wildlife.

For couples wanting to take relaxation to another level, the Broads is home to the UK’s first beer spa.

The Norfolk Mead Hotel in Coltishall introduced its boozy baths in August as part of a £3.5m investment.

Finally, for newlyweds staying in the area, the guide suggests a quick hop up the county for a day trip to the wide-open skies at Holkham Beach.
