Some questions remain unanswered after the election on Tuesday.  First, why can’t the state of Arizona count its votes?  Not a large state; it’s chaos each Election Day. Too hot? What? The feds might have to begin supervising things in Phoenix if this continues.

Why are the CEOs of CBS, Disney/ABC, and Comcast/NBC allowing their news divisions to destroy themselves? Major mystery of the universe. CBS’ 60 Minutes allegedly doctored an interview with Kamala Harris to make her look better. I hope that’s not true, as the program is iconic. All CBS has to do is release the transcript to torpedo the charge. It will not. So, major damage has been done.

Same thing with the late-night shows on CBS and ABC. Colbert and Kimmel are ardent liberals.  No problem if they are fair with their satire.  They are not. Conservatives and many other Americans have stopped watching.

It will be interesting to see how NBC’s Saturday Night Live will handle Trump’s victory. Will Kamala Harris make another appearance?  Doubt it.  Lorne Michaels is shrewder than that.  There’s plenty to mock in the election aftermath.  Will SNL spread it around?

My final question is this: does Cable News realize how boring it’s become?  How predictable?  How trite?

How many times during the campaign did we hear “we’ll see?” “At the end of the day”?  “By the way”? Jeez, they’re worse than Biden.

Plenty of questions. Few answers. Please check out my Sunday column. Enjoy the weekend.
