Herman Manyora, a political analyst and current lecturer at the University of Nairobi, has sparked a stir online. Through his YouTube channel, he explains why the majority leader in the national assembly would lose his MP seat in the 2027 elections.

According to Herman Manyora, MP Kimani Ichungwah made a mistake by supporting Rigathi Gachagua’s impeachment. This is because, in 2027, people from Mt Kenya, particularly in Kiambu County, will vote to remove those MPs who voted to impeach Gachagua from office.

Manyora went on to state that the locals of the Mount Kenya region are furious with Ruto and his associates for betraying their son Gachagua. He also stated that Ruto will face difficulties in gaining the overwhelming support he received during the previous general elections from the Mt Kenya region. The only way he can get tremendous support is to begin and complete substantial initiatives in the Mt Kenya region. Do you agree or disagree on this matter?
