While there is the buzz of a trade coming, the Bulls are expected to focus on maximizing their investment in both players, focusing on them “rebounding after disappointing 2023-2024 seasons.
“We’ve got pieces,” Bulls shooting guard Josh Giddey said. “It’s not like we’re starting from scratch. It’s a really talented group and whether that’s the first week or the 15th, or somewhere in between, we’ll be where we’re meant to be. We are all buying into what we’re trying to do here.”
LaVine, so far this season, has an average score of 22.7 points and 5.5 rebounds per game. Vucevic, on the other hand, has an average of 20.8 points per game, 10.8 rebounds, and 3.6 assists. Will The Chicago Bulls be Able to Let Zach LaVine Go Now?
News of the Bulls wanting to let Zach LaVine go through a trade is not something new in the rumor mill. In fact, the team was reported in the past looking to trade LaVine, but was struggling to find a partner for him.
Allegedly, the Bulls were looking to trade him off during the 2023-2024 season but was not able to do so, as inside words allege that “there is no market for Zach LaVine.” Because of this, LaVine stayed with the franchise and played for his eighth straight season.
As for Chicago Bulls center Nikola Vucevic, rumors of him potentially going to the Los Angeles Lakers have surfaced earlier this year, with some industry analysts seeing him as a potential alternative option for the Lakers. Rumors had it that the Lakers were primarily interested in LaVine.
