Donald Trump is set for a second stint in the White House after a comprehensive win over Democrat rival Kamala Harris in this week’s US presidential election.

Trump, who was also president between 2017 and 2021, may well be the richest US president ever.

The Forbes Real Time Billionaires is a daily ranking of the richest people in the world.

At the time of publishing it shows that Trump is the 635th-richest person in the world with a fortune of $5.3 billion.

Meanwhile, Trump’s close friend, ally and soon-to-be member of his cabinet, South Africa-born 53-year-old Elon Musk, has extended his lead as the world’s richest person.

Musk leads the way ahead of the co-founder of Oracle Corporation, Larry Ellison

Following closely behind in third place is the founder and CEO of Amazon, Jeff Bezos.

The rest of the top 10, in order, are Mark Zuckerberg, Bernard Arnault, Larry Page, Warren Buffet, Sergey Brin, Jensen Huang and Steve Ballmer.

Musk is fast closing in on the $300 billion mark.

Not so long ago he trailed Bernard Arnault in the rankings.

However, at the time of publishing Musk stands a staggering $120.4 billion ahead of the LVMH founder.

Musk’s cryptocurrency dogecoin jumped 18% after Donald Trump’s US election win this week, while his Tesla shares also saw double-digit increases.

Musk is bound to make Trump an even richer man over the next four years in office …
