There was sorrow at the Kenya Primary School Heads Association (KEPSHA) Annual Conference in Mombasa after a headteacher died on Thursday, November 7.
The teacher collapsed at the event and was rushed to nearest health facility but was pronounced dead on arrival. The body was transferred to mortuary for a post-mortem to establish the actual cause of death.
The family members were alerted immediately when the incident took place. His colleagues termed the death as ‘tragic’ saying that his place and contributions to the education sector will remain forever cherished.
Friends and his staff members eulogized the departed tutor saying death had robbed the teaching fraternity of a focused and hard working teacher, who dedicated his time to moulding his pupils.
