Kenya has recently experienced a surge in vehicle accidents involving police cars, raising concerns over road safety for law enforcement personnel.
The latest incident occurred just minutes ago near Kibingoti town on the Sagana-Karatina Highway.
According to reports from Inooro FM via their Facebook page, a police truck carrying several officers lost control and rolled multiple times, resulting in injuries to the occupants.
The accident left the police truck severely damaged, as photos obtained by our news desk reveal the extensive impact.
Traffic officers from Karatina quickly responded to the scene, documenting the accident and arranging for the wrecked vehicle to be towed to the Karatina Police Station.
The injured officers were transported to Karatina Sub-County Hospital, where they are currently receiving medical attention.
