Safaricom Directs All Customers to do The Following Before Sending Money.

Safaricom broke its quiet this afternoon, issuing a powerful statement to all of its customers living in various local and regional areas.

According to a statement dated November 8, 2024, the mobile service provider has informed all of its clients about the procedures to follow before transferring payments between M-PESA accounts.

Safaricom has asked all users to double-check that they have provided the proper phone number before transferring payments from one M-PESA account to another, in an effort to avoid customers from sending money to the wrong number.

Safaricom went on to say that because the established M-PESA app had a strategic edge in terms of phone book access, users didn’t have to enter the phone number of the intended recipient of a transaction.

Is the number on the mbona wrong, Wadau? Watch the video to learn which number you can use. Both the M-PESA and My Safaricom apps provide a user-friendly phone book. Mahali unatuma kikisha, please confirm. Safaricom stated, “Tueleze experience, yako tukujibu.”
