Shakira’s requests for her upcoming tour: a room to receive guests, distilled water, two wardrobes…
The Colombian singer-songwriter already has 40 concerts scheduled in America for the first half of 2025.
Shakira currently has 40 concerts scheduled for the first half of 2025 as part of her ‘Las mujeres ya no lloran World Tour’. The Colombian artist will start her tour on February 11 in Brazil, where she will perform twice, as well as in Peru, Chile and Argentina. The Barranquilla singer-songwriter will give five concerts in her country and twice as many, ten, in Mexico, six of which will be at the GNP Seguros stadium in Mexico City, for which there are hardly any tickets left despite the fact that its capacity is 65,000 spectators.
Tickets for the concerts that Shakira will offer in Lima (February 16 and 17), Barranquilla (February 20 and 21), Medellin (February 23), Bogota (February 26 and 27), Santiago de Chile (March 2 and 3) and Buenos Aires (March 7 and 8) are sold out, but there are still tickets for the concerts in Rio de Janeiro (February 11) and Sao Paulo (February 13), as well as for some of the ten concerts scheduled in Mexico: Guadalajara (March 12 and 13), Monterrey (March 16 and 17) and Mexico City (March 19, 21, 23, 25, 27 and 28). However, it seems that the Colombian singer is going to sell out all the 23 shows she is going to give before resting for approximately a month and a half.
After the concert on March 28 in Mexico City, Shakira will not return to the stage until May 13, when she will begin a tour of just over a month and a half in the United States and Canada, where she has 17 concerts scheduled: Charlotte (May 13), East Rutherford (May 15), Montreal (May 20), Detroit (May 22), Toronto (May 26), Boston (May 29), Washington (May 31), Orlando (June 4), Miami (June 6), Arlington (June 11), San Antonio (June 13), Houston (June 15), Inglewood (June 20), Phoenix (June 22), San Diego (June 26), Las Vegas (June 28) and San Francisco (June 30).
Shakira has gone all out in the staging of her new show so as not to disappoint the hundreds of thousands of fans who will see her perform live at one of her concerts on her ‘Las mujeres ya no lloran World Tour’. To this end, according to Mexican journalist Luis Magana in El Universal, the 47-year-old artist has hired the services of Taylor Swift’s sound engineers, the choreographer who organized Beyonce’s last shows and the creatives of the Cirque du Soleil graphics who designed the performance inspired by Michael Jackson’s music.
Luis Magaña also reveals Shakira’s requests for each concert of her tour, to which she will take her vocal coach, masseuse, doctor and nutritionist. The only thing the Colombian asks is to have in the venue where she is going to hold her show three rooms: one for makeup and wardrobe, another to receive guests and a third, at the foot of the stage, to be able to quickly change clothes. Likewise, the Barranquillera requires that there be distilled water, two closets, two comfortable chairs, three tables and that in the three rooms there is a constant temperature of 22 degrees Celsius.
