Tennis club: dynamic activities

The school holidays were particularly dynamic at the village tennis club. For two weeks, the club offered an internship for young players. This course, designed to combine pleasure and learning, allowed participants to improve their techniques, strengthen their team spirit, and fully experience their passion for tennis. Thanks to impeccable organization and the enthusiasm of the young people, this event was a great success, generating enthusiasm and encouragement from parents and club members.

The Tennis Club teams distinguished themselves in their weekend matches, displaying remarkable determination and varied results.

First regarding the youth category, the 13-14 year old boys lost against Hauts de Nîmes. For the 17-18 year old boys, it was a deserved victory against Sommières, highlighting the team’s solid and effective play. The girls (15-18 years old) obtained a brilliant victory, the young players demonstrated their combativeness and their talent on the field.

At the championship level (40 years), we note the victories against Remoulins and against Salindres. A defeat against Salindres. Regarding the Committee Cup championship, victory against Marguerittes.

The club had the pleasure of concluding its first youth tournament with an awards ceremony, a much-anticipated moment of sharing and conviviality.

For the weeks to come, there will be no shortage of activities at the village tennis club. Registrations for the Blue Cup championship close on Friday, November 8.

The club is also proud to participate in the Telethon this year, by organizing a doubles day at the scrum, Saturday December 7. From 10 a.m., members are invited to come and play for a good cause, in a friendly and supportive atmosphere.

It will be an opportunity to share good times while supporting an essential cause.

The Tennis Club continues to enliven local sporting life thanks to diverse and unifying events.
