Esha is the biological daughter of Rupali’s husband Ashwin K. Verma with his ex-wife Sapna. Esha compared her experience to the high-profile case of Sushant Singh Rajput, suggesting that Rupali’s influence on her father mirrored claims made about Rhea Chakraborty, stating Rupali gave him “strange medications” and exerted undue control over his life.

In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Esha recounted an incident where Rupali allegedly visited their New Jersey home and slept on the bed that Esha’s parents once shared. Esha explained that Rupali’s behavior over the years had deeply affected both her and her mother, causing emotional and psychological strain.

Ashwin Verma’s response: Divorce is difficult for children

Ashwin Verma, addressed the situation on X, sympathizing with Esha’s struggles while also clarifying his stance. He explained that while he has children from previous marriages, his separation from Esha’s mother was due to private issues and not related to Rupali. “I do have two daughters from previous relationships,” Ashwin noted, adding that he deeply regrets any negative attention the situation has brought. He expressed empathy for Esha, acknowledging the difficulties children face during divorce.
