Uncharted Water Origin is making a massive change to its gacha system starting January
Right now in Uncharted Waters Origin, you can take part in the exciting-sounding Treasure Exploration 2 season event. Until December 4th you can log in for 14 days total to receive daily rewards, including the 28-day long Dream of El Dorado buff. But, there is more to enjoy in this update.
There isn’t a shiny admiral to collect this time, but you can enjoy the Permit Owner relationship chronicle starring S-Grade Mate John Hawkins. You will follow his origins as an English Privateer and raising his way through the English Navy, whilst picking up some useful rewards.
If you wish to slap other players around without worrying about any negative consequences then you should take a look at the new PvP content. You can now challenge others to a Friendly Match, as friendly as firing cannonballs at each other can be, for no-stakes brawls taking place on the same map as a Skirmish does.
Since the smuggling feature was introduced, it has allowed us to live out even more of our piracy dreams. There are now additional cities in which you can commit this grand crime, with Smuggling Rings being added to Naples, Lima, Malacca, Alexandria, Chongqing, Timbuktu, Hamburg, and Soda Island.
In some pretty big news, the Gacha System will be closing down in January. You can still be Chests with the Tickets you own right now, and that is advisable to do before it shuts. The developers have said they are “considering” a refund for gacha tickets, but it would ironically be a gamble to hold onto them. Some of the Mates and Mate Contracts from the draws will be available to purchase with in-game currency, so you can keep collecting.
Uncharted Waters Origin is available to download now from the App Store and Google Play.
