Vikrant Massey recently sat down for an interview with India Today and discussed his viral Karwa Chauth post for his wife, Sheetal. The talented actor revealed that it was Sheetal who had shown him the reactions to the same, as he was not active on platforms like Twitter or Reddit. In his words:
“This might break a lot of hearts, especially those who criticized and cursed me. I don’t have Twitter or Reddit, so my wife is my eyes and ears in this world; she tells me what’s happening.”
Sheetal had shown Vikrant a few screenshots of the reactions, some of which were positive while others were negative. Talking about the same, Vikrant further stated that the comments of other people didn’t really matter as this was his ‘private life.’

During the interview, Vikrant Massey was also asked whether he had become immune to negativity. Vikrant responded that he didn’t, as he still had a ‘beating heart.’ However, the actor said that he was trying to learn the ‘tricks of the trade’ so that negativity wouldn’t get to him. In his words:
“No, I haven’t become immune to it. I’m still alive; I’m not dead yet. I have a beating heart, and I’m a sensitive person—it does bother me. But I’m learning new tricks of the trade to not let it affect me because I have a beautiful family to care of, a lot of work to focus on, and myself to look after. as much as they used to.”

Vikrant Massey also talked about touching his wife, Sheetal’s feet, and revealed that he hadn’t done it for the first time on Karwa Chauth. The actor stated that he touches his wife’s feet out of ‘pure conviction’ because only good things have happened since she entered his life. Sheetal, too, touches his feet for the same reason. Vikrant further said:
“It’s not the first time I’ve touched her feet. We’ve been together for 11 years now. I genuinely believe in the tradition — we perform Lakshmi Puja, touch her feet, and we say that by touching a woman’s feet, all good things happen. Then why do people have a problem with that?”
