Wahome Thuku To African Heads Of States: Kenyans Support Djibouti Candidate For AUC Chairmanship

City Lawyer Wahome Thuku has shared a message of his own directing to African Heads of States.

Sharing his message on Facebook, Wahome Thuku alleged that eighty five percent of Kenyans are in support of Djiboutian diplomat Mohamoud Ali Youssouf for the AUC chairmanship. He wrote “Your Excellencies. I am a Kenyan and Kenyans (85%) support the Djibouti candidate Mahmoud Ali Yousouff for the AUC chairmanship. It’s your duty to ensure African Union Commission (AUC) does not retrogress in standards. Its your duty to ensure on behalf of the 1.5billion Africans on the continent, that AUC is run professionally by a real, focused diplomat with the best of the best professional qualifications and one with no political baggage from home nation.”

A Kenyan argued “There’s no baggage at home. The problem was former Deputy President that got successfully impeached. The country is peaceful and in steady transformation. For the first time in the history of Kenya we have a honorable President walking the talk and showing true elements of being trustworthy.”

Another one added “There is no justifiable reason why Raila should not get the seat. Raila is equal to the task, I guess the so reason why you vigorously campaigned for him to become Kenyan President. Raila Odinga has no baggage anywhere.”

One more added “You want Baba to Fail so thar you use him again in 2027 elections for selfish gains. Not happening again. Baba is out of Kenyan politics and Africa is the best for him to be.”

However, another citizen supported Wahome Thuku claiming “Am behind the Djibouti candidate. This gentleman must win the AU chairmanship seat for a better and a more robust African growth and development. I am not Frenchman but I’m drumming for the Djibouti candidate. We need Raila in Kenya on this noble cause to ensures all Kenyans are engaged on national issues.”
