Nottingham Forest are looking to register another victory in the Premier League this weekend when Newcastle United come to town.

Nuno Espirito Santo and his side have shocked a lot of people in the opening 10 games and have the opportunity to solidify their spot in third ahead of the international break.

However, Forest will face a difficult task on the weekend against a Newcastle United side who have just beaten Arsenal last weekend.

The two sides have already met this season with the Toon progressing in the Carabao Cup but with the two sides starting heavily rotated lineups.

Gary Neville has been so impressed by Forest this season with the Reds really looking to cause some major upsets among the top boys in the Premier League.

And the Sky Sports man is not the only pundit to have enjoyed what he has seen from Nuno and his side.

Ian Wright loves how Nottingham Forest use all substitutions

Speaking on his Wrighty’s house podcast, Ian Wright admitted there was something rather specific which he has loved seeing from Nuno.

“You know what I love about Nuno… I think in about nine of the Premier League games that they’ve played, he’s brought on all five substitutes,” said Wright.

“He’s bringing them all on and the thing is, you look at the way they’re playing, they’re all ready to go. Everyone is ready to go.

“Milenkovic… great signing! Murillo is fun to watch! Fun to watch.”

Sky Sports’ Kris Boyd was wowed by Forest’s attacking prowess in the early stages of the season and the Reds have only gone from strength to strength ever since.

Nedum Onuoha questions Forest’s squad depth

Despite Wright hailing Forest for using all of their substitutes during the game, it seems not everyone is convinced the Reds have great squad depth.

Speaking to BBC Sport, Nedum Onuoha has questioned whether Forest have quality replacements when their starters are sidelined through injury.

“The depth of their squad is an interesting debate,” he said.

“I think of it as people filling in those gaps when players are injured, but the reality is that the vast majority of their players will be available for most of the season.”

Perhaps the biggest question would arise if Chris Wood was to pick up a significant injury given the striker has been in such fine form.

Wood has just won the Player of the Month award for his efforts and his absence would certainly create a huge loss.
