WWE SmackDown preview (Nov. 8, 2024): Welcome back, Sami Uso!

SmackDown airs tonight (Nov. 8) with a live show emanating from KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York. This is the first episode of SmackDown during the four week build towards Survivor Series, which takes place on November 30.

Welcome back, Sami Uso!

On this week’s episode of Raw, Jey Uso tried to talk things out with Sami Zayn and Jimmy Uso about what happened at Crown Jewel when Sami saved Jey from Solo Sikoa’s Bloodline but accidentally kicked Roman Reigns during the chaos.

Jimmy said Sami isn’t family and he clearly kicked Roman on purpose. Big Jim also indicated that Roman is angry and feels the same way. Sami couldn’t believe that his trustworthiness was being questioned by the guy who actually did betray Jey and intentionally kicked him in the face over one year ago.

Zayn pointed out that things did feel special for a moment when he was kicking ass together with the original Bloodline at Crown Jewel, but that moment is already over. He’s done having his loyalty questioned. Sami only showed up to help Jey when he was in a bad situation, but he’s once again done with all of The Bloodline drama. “I’m out.”

Sami should know better than to think he’s the only one who determines whether he’s out of the family or not. Jey referred to him by the name “Sami Uso” and asked him to appear on SmackDown tonight so they can talk things out again, this time with the OTC also in the ring for the conversation.

War Games is coming up later this month, so I think Sami Uso is going to play a major role in The Bloodline civil war, whether he wants to or not. Will The Bloodline attack Jey, Jimmy, Roman, and Sami as they are trying to resolve their issues tonight? Will it take the return of another original Bloodline member, the wiseman Paul Heyman, to convince all four men to put their differences aside and fight side-by-side right now?

The rest of tonight’s card

WWE Tag Team Champions Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin have accepted an invitation to be guests on the Grayson Waller Effect. Will it lead to a match later tonight where the Motor City Machine Guns get to embarrass A-Town Down Under?

Other stuff to keep an eye on

Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes can forget about GUNTHER after beating him for the Crown Jewel Championship in Saudi Arabia. Cody’s top priority is now the same as Randy Orton’s, which is to target Kevin Owens. Will Rhodes and Orton have to fight each other to see who gets the next chance to beat the shit out of KO in an official match?

– LA Knight walked out of Saudi Arabia with a win and his United States championship reign still intact. Can he finally move on from dealing with Andrade and Carmelo Hayes each week?

WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax is going to be pissed off after failing to win the Crown Jewel Championship. Will she try to take out her frustrations on Tiffany Stratton tonight, or will Naomi interject and make it clear that she’s coming for Nia’s gold ASAP?

– It sounds like the Street Profits aren’t too happy with their booking in WWE. Is this all a work that is leading into their next story on SmackDown?

WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill might have their hands full with Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez on Raw. After the heels tried to sow distrust between the champs earlier this week, will Bianca and Jade show up tonight trying to one-up each other while dominating another team on the SmackDown roster?

– Legado del Fantasma probably needs to come up with a new strategy after an appeal to General Manager Nick Aldis about their lack of opportunities hasn’t exactly improved their standing.

– Giovanni Vinci is completely screwed being on this SmackDown roster, isn’t he?

– Where the f*** is Shinsuke Nakamura?

What will you be looking for on SmackDown?
