Day 1 : Chennai

Later in the evening, stroll along the sandy shores of the Marina, which is the second longest Beach in the world and shopping can be done with some souvenirs before returning to hotel. Overnight stay in Chennai.

Day 2 : Chennai – Mahabalipuram – Pondicherry

Post breakfast, check out from the hotel and start your drive to the Former French Enclave Pondicherry, Enroute visit Mahabalipuram , the city and the sandy shores have a lot to explore. The pinnacle of the Pallava Dynasty can be witnessed here in the form of stone structures and temples on the shore. Marvel at the beauty of Pancha Rathas, Descent of the Ganges which is a monolithic wonder made out of stone, Krishna’s butterball and varaha cave temple. Also visit the Sea Shell Museum where you can see the largest collections of shells and pearls, an astonishing sight. After thoroughly enjoying Mahabalipuram, proceed to Pondicherry.
