Our supporters have selected Bukayo Saka as our men’s Player of the Month for October.
Bukayo scooped up half of the votes to beat off competition from Thomas Partey, Kai Havertz and Gabriel Martinelli to win his second monthly award of the season so far, having already been deemed to be August’s top performer
The red-hot winger has already reached 10 goal involvements in the Premier League in just nine games, and four of those came in October. A stunning performance saw him score one goal and create two more against Southampton, while his strike in the 2-2 draw against Liverpool was rewarded with a nomination for the Premier League Goal of the Month.
He was also included on the shortlist for the league’s Player of the Month award, while Bukayo also shone in the Champions League, netting a free-kick against PSG to help seal our 2-0 win on a night where he captained the side – something he also did in Martin Odegaard’s absence against Liverpool.
This is the eighth time our Hale End graduate has won one of our club Player of the Month awards, having also won two prizes last season.
