During Friday’s episode of This Morning, presenters Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary were gently scolded by their colleague.

Following a commercial break, the duo engaged in some banter to tease upcoming segments. But as their conversation extended, Alice Beer appeared impatient, opting to grab a seat.

Visibly annoyed, she commented: “You know what, I was so bored! I’m just standing there forever. Goodness, carry on droning on. Then, when you come to my item, it’ll be, ‘You’ve got one minute left.'”.

The hosts couldn’t help but laugh, with Alison attempting to say: “Alison, you are helping us-”

However, she was interrupted by an irate Alice who wasted no time in correcting her for the name mix-up.

Frustrated, she yelled: “Who is Alison?! How many years? How many? I mean you can get away with calling Billy Bob Thornton, Billy Rob, but Alice Beer?!”

Alison couldn’t contain her laughter at Alice’s frustration, while Dermot promptly offered an apology for the mistake, reports the Mirror.

However, Alice didn’t miss the chance to point out that Alison was inadvertently knocking items off a shelf with his attire.

She pointed out: “What you don’t realise is you’re sweeping all the things off the shelf with your trousers, look! You’re making such a mess.”

In a light-hearted moment, Alison turned around as she commented: “Did I do that?! When did I do that? Oh my god, I’m like a superhero, I don’t even know my own strength.”

Alice clarified that the vase had shattered while they were conversing, as the producers added comedic sound effects of shattering glass.

Dermot chimed in: “The thing is, it’s actually quite important what you’re talking about.”

Alice responded: “Of course it is! But, it’s also joyous, so it’s ok.”

She then informed viewers about her upcoming segment on researching family trees and exploring online deals to uncover more about their ancestors.

Alison, however, remained fixated on the broken prop, saying: “Did I really break it? I don’t remember. Oh my god, I’m so sorry. I’ll replace it, promise, I’ll replace it.”

This wasn’t the only embarrassing moment for Alison, as she also flubbed Hollywood actor Billy Bob Thornton’s introduction.

At the show’s opening, she said: “Now, it doesn’t get more star-studded than today on our sofa, does it? Absolutely unbelievable, we’re very excited to be joined by Hollywood legends Demi Moore, Job Hamm, Billy Rob Thornton- sorry about that, Bob!

One of the actors called out, noting the error from across the room: “Great start!”

Alison quickly added: “So sorry! Billy Bob, apologies!”
