The tech mogul was one of the Republican’s main backers
Donald Trump is already the winner of the presidential elections last November 5, and there one of the main responsible was the Republican patron, Elon Musk, who donated a considerable amount of millions and here we tell you the amount that the tycoon gave for his campaign.
As one of the president-elect’s biggest backers, the tech billionaire donated more than $119 million to fund a Super PAC aimed at re-electing Trump, and the results were plain to see.
The traditional political approach of executives is to “not be in the public spotlight,” explains Erik Gordon, president of the entrepreneurship department at the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business.
Elon Musk’s great support for Donald Trump
In full view of voters, the 53-year-old South African tycoon has invested his time, operational know-how and gigantic pocketbook in trying to get the Republican elected, a rarity among the business elite, who traditionally prefer to influence politics behind the scenes, but Musk showed his support openly and unabashedly.
It’s a radically different approach from traditional CEOs, many of whom have been better known for hosting expensive, exclusive fundraising dinners or hosting potential donors in lavish homes.
Elon Musk was hand in hand supporting Trump and during the election night party he was one of the speakers and even offered millions to all those who helped to add votes in favor of the Republican.
