She wrote: “Since adopting these lifestyle changes I’m feeling fitter & healthier than ever!

“There are many treatments and procedures you can have to fight the ageing process but I believe the best place to start is from within.”

She uploaded a video on her @annamariakalebic account sharing five tips on “reverse ageing”, and they are very easy to copy.

Her first tip was to try to mainly consume healthy whole foods, instead of buying processed items from the supermarket.

The second piece of advice goes hand in hand with this, and it is to cook meals from scratch instead of buying ready meals.

Annamaria then says you need to eat lots of plants and take up some form of strength training.

She demonstrated using a kettlebell to do some swings to keep in shape.

Her next tip was to increase your protein intake, and she showed a green smoothie she had prepared for herself.

On Instagram, she said: “I count plants not calories.

“It’s the reason why I feel fitter now in my 50s than I did in my 20s.”

People are always stunned when I tell them I had cosmetic surgery aged SIX – I had more at 10, and it still wasn’t right

Annamaria admitted that her confidence hasn’t always been so high.

She shared “I lost my groove in my 40s, but thankfully I found it again in my 50s.”

Many people were amazed at her age-defying tips, with one person saying: “Hey you look amazing.”

Another added: “You’re beautiful.”

However, one person said: “We don’t grow younger.”

A second wrote: “Makeup and good lighting.”

Why is turmeric good for anti-ageing?

A study published in the Asia Pacific Journal of Clinical Nutrition suggests that turmeric and curcumin may help prevent DNA damage and aid in DNA repair.

This is promising news for disease prevention and slowing the ageing process. It also:

Boosts Collagen Production: Collagen is a protein that maintains the skin’s elasticity and firmness. As we age, collagen production decreases, leading to wrinkles and sagging skin. Turmeric helps stimulate collagen synthesis, thereby promoting firmer and more youthful skin.

Improves Skin Health: Turmeric has been shown to improve various skin conditions, such as acne, psoriasis, and eczema. Its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties help soothe the skin, reduce redness, and promote a clearer complexion.
