Satguru Maharaj Ji, founder of the One Love Family, has urged Primate Elijah Ayodele of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church to refrain from making predictions of disaster concerning President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the future of Nigeria. Maharaj Ji argued that Ayodele’s constant foretelling of negative events and national decline would not come to pass, suggesting that the cleric should take lessons from figures like Primate Olabayo and TB Joshua, whose unfavorable predictions ultimately affected them personally, as reported by The Nation.

Responding to Ayodele’s recent statement, in which the primate claimed that Tinubu’s administration lacks solutions for Nigeria’s economic troubles, Maharaj Ji questioned why a spiritual leader would consistently predict tragic events and warn of violent occurrences. Ayodele’s media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, had described Nigeria’s economy as being in a “hypertensive” state, claiming that the nation would remain challenging unless a major economic reform is undertaken—something the current administration may struggle to achieve.

In his response, Guru Maharaj Ji emphasized that true men of God, as seen in the Bible and the Holy Koran, traditionally follow paths of peace, unity, love, and happiness, rather than focusing on negative prophecies.
