Pastor Mike Bamiloye Criticizes Christian Division Over Trump Support, Calls for Unity

Pastor Mike Bamiloye, founder of Mount Zion Faith Ministries, has voiced his disappointment over divisions among Christians, particularly in the U.S., regarding support for former U.S. President Donald Trump. Sharing his views on social media, Bamiloye expressed frustration that Christians appear divided over backing a leader he considers aligned with Christian values,as reported by Punch.

In a recent post, Bamiloye shared a video of Trump discussing his commitment to Christian principles, emphasizing moral values and faith. “What is confusing in the options?” Bamiloye asked, asserting that Trump’s party supports values consistent with Christianity, while the opposition endorses policies he views as conflicting with Christian teachings, such as abortion and same-sex marriage.

Bamiloye added, “Before the recent election, I was so shocked that some Christians were confused about Donald Trump.”

The post stirred extensive online debate. Commenters like Lekan Awe questioned Trump’s sincerity, stating, “He should go further by following through. God hates hatred, but Donald Trump has shown hatred towards Africa.” Conversely, Jacob Aderounmu celebrated Trump’s stance, describing it as “a victory over darkness.” Bamiloye’s post has intensified the ongoing discourse on faith and politics among Christians worldwide.
