According to Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport, AC Milan are ready to offer a new contract to Tijjani Reijnders, with personal terms doubly improved, in order to fend off interest from the Premier League. Apparently, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur are both interested in the services of the 26-year-old midfielder.
Of the 11 Serie A matches Milan have played this season, Reijners was a starter in eight, entered the contest from the bench once, and missed two games through the suspension which followed his sending off against Udinese last month.
Reijners only joined Milan from AZ Alkmaar last year, and has made a total of 63 appearances in all competitions, scoring eight goals and providing six assists. His current contract does not expire before the summer of 2028. He is obviously an important part of the team under head coach Paulo Fonseca, and the Rossoneri are keen to keep him happy at San Siro.
