Hero Bikes and Scooters EICMA 2024 Wrap-Up: Hero Karizma XMR 250, Xtreme 250R, XPulse 210, Mavrick 440 and more
Hero has revealed 3 new bikes, 1 updated bike, 1 concept and 1 new electric scooter at the EICMA 2024
Hero MotoCorp was seen in action at the EICMA 2024 motorcycle show in Italy. The manufacturer revealed new bikes, an electric scooter, updated models, and an ADV concept as well, paving the path for its future in India and globally. Here is all that happened:
Hero Karizma XMR 250
Hero Karizma XMR 250 was revealed with a similar, but bulkier design as the smaller Hero Karizma XMR. The Hero Karizma XMR 250 is powered by a 250cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine delivering 30PS and 25Nm. The bike gets an inverted fork, 6-step adjustable monoshock, disc brakes on both ends with switchable ABS, LED lighting, TFT console, lap timer, drag timer and more.
Hero Xtreme 250R
Hero Xtreme 250R is the naked version of the Karizma XMR 250. It comes with a streetfighter design and is also powered by the same 250cc,liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine as the Karizma XMR 250. It even produces 30PS and 25Nm. It even gets the same suspension setup and features as the 250cc Karizma.
Hero XPulse 210
Hero also unveiled the new Hero XPulse 210, which is a slightly more powerful version of the Hero XPulse 200 4V. The XPulse 210 is equipped with the same 210cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine as the Karizma XMR, that makes 24.8PS and 20.7Nm. It comes with a taller windscreen, TFT console, longer travel suspensions as compared to the standard XPulse 200 4V.
Hero XPulse 421
Hero also revealed the XPulse 421 concept at EICMA 2024, which would be the manufacturer’s biggest capacity XPulse bike to date. The Hero Xpulse 421 concept bike is no longer the dual-sport bike, but is rather an ADV now. It features a rally bike-inspired design, which seems to be an influence from Hero’s Dakar bikes. The XPulse 421 is expected to get a new 421cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine which would make around 40PS to 45PS.
Vida Z Electric Scooter
Hero also revealed the new Vida Z electric scooter under its electric arm, to enhance its electric portfolio. The Vida Z is a family-focused electric scooter. It comes with a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) and gets a removable battery pack. The Vida Z can support various battery capacities, ranging from 2.2 kWh to 4.4 kWh packs. Its features include a touchscreen TFT instrument console with smartphone connectivity, navigation, geofencing, an anti-theft device and more.
Hero Mavrick 440
An updated Hero Mavrick 440 was also showcased by the Jaipur-based manufacturer. The 440cc neo-retro roadster features a new glossy grey colour scheme with black stripes on the tank and borrows a gold-finished inverted fork and the TFT console from the Harley Davidson X440.
