Detectives piecing together the details reveal that the woman, whose identity has been withheld, left her home in California Estate for a planned date with a man named Hashim Dagane Muhumed. However, she never returned; her mutilated body was later discovered dumped at Lang’ata Cemetery. The victim had been brutally attacked, her body immersed in chemicals before being discarded.
A key breakthrough came from a receipt found at the crime scene, leading detectives to a supermarket the victim had visited prior to her death. CCTV footage from the store and the apartment where the murder took place confirmed the victim’s movements and established a connection to Dagane. Authorities suspect a yet-to-be-recovered vehicle was used to transport the body.
Remarkably, the investigation has further tied Dagane to multiple other violent incidents, including the deaths of three women.
